Hello!

Welcome to my little corner of engineering, science, and curious ideas.

I. Hi, I’m Denis.

I build things. I break things.

I explore problems that fascinate me: from diagnostics to AI, from fluidics to trading, from teaching to storytelling (occasionally featuring goblins). This site is not a portfolio or a company page.

It’s a living notebook: a mix of engineering notes, scientific adventures, reflections, experiments, and a few narrative detours when imagination gets involved.

Welcome. Take a breath. Pick a path.

II. What this website is

A playground. A lab.

A small universe where I document what I’m learning while building things, systems, simulations, prototypes, habits, and ideas. Some posts are technical. Some are philosophical. Some are stories. All of them come from real curiosity and real work. You don’t need to “read in order”. Just start where you feel the spark.

III. Choose Your Path

Below are a few curated entry points depending on what you like. No pressure, wander as you wish.

a. Science & Imagination (light, fun, a bit weird)

If you like physics mixed with fantasy, or scientific problems wrapped in humor:

If you’re into biomarker dynamics, simulated humans, machine learning, or speculative medical engineering:

This is my playground mixing sciences and technology.

b. Engineering & Fluidics

If you like solving real-world problems through design, iteration, and hands-on prototypes:

  • How We Bent a Prusa to Our Will: A Fluidic Adventure (coming soon)

This is the “maker mindset” section of the site.

c. Paragliding Trading (mindset + engineering)

If you enjoy trading, risk management, psychology, and building your own tools:

d. Teaching, Start-ups & Leadership

If you want thoughts on research, pedagogy, creativity, and the messy parts of being a scientist or founder:

This is the reflective, human side of the site.

IV. What to expect

  • Posts are short or long depending on my mood.
  • The tone changes: sometimes serious, sometimes playful.
  • Everything is honest, even when the topic is absurd.
  • I write to think, and to share what I learn while building unusual things.
  • You may encounter goblins, astronauts, diagnostics, trading charts, and 3D-printed channels… sometimes in the same week.

If you enjoy curiosity-driven exploration, you’re in the right place.

V. Want to follow something specific?

You can explore by tags or hop between series. I update the site regularly, whenever I have a new idea worth testing or a story worth telling.
